NORTH PORT—Living in southern Rhode Island in 2008, Jim arid ,Cindy Brad.y took a trip to sunny St. Petersburg to check the area out.

They loved it. Over the next two years; they made 10 return visits, venturing further and further south. It didn't take long for them to stum­ble upon North Port. 

Noting its quality of life and affordability, it didn't take long for the Bradys to pack their bags in Hope Valley, Rhode Island, and permanently retire to North Port.

The Bradys aren't alone either, as North Port has become one of the top cities in the nation to retire.
